The problem
MADE4.0 was entrusted with supporting SICAD’s newly appointed Industrial Digital Innovation Manager, with the goal of equipping him with the necessary skills to lead the adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the company’s digital transformation.
The solution
A tailored training program was developed for the Industrial Digital Innovation Manager, starting with an assessment to identify challenges and specific needs.
The program included theoretical lessons on IoT technologies, hands-on exercises with tools such as Raspberry Pi, and the integration of cloud platforms to facilitate the adoption of IoT solutions within SICAD’s production environment.
Desired Impacts
The program significantly expanded the Industrial Digital Innovation Manager’s skills, strengthening SICAD’s ability to integrate IoT into its business strategies. This led to the development of a dedicated IoT project focused on applying IoT to company assets, particularly in acquiring and processing signals previously managed by an analyzer bench.
Benefits for the company
- Enhanced company competitiveness through the adoption of advanced technologies.
- Increased ability to develop new IoT projects by integrating technical skills with a strategic vision.
- Strengthened SICAD’s market position through an innovative approach to digital transformation.
