Are you passionate about technological innovation and eager to lead collaborative research and development projects at European and national levels? We are looking for a dynamic and motivated R&D Project Manager to join our team at the MADE Competence Center for Industry 4.0.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating research and innovation activities with national and international partners in European, national, and regional projects;
- Contributing to the preparation of new project proposals and creating EU-level partnerships for project development;
- Involving research centers, universities, and industries operating in different disciplinary sectors;
- Supporting R&I activities with national and international partners (feasibility analysis, planning, managing work progress);
- Collaborating with technical managers to plan and manage activities within the center;
- Developing innovative technical content to achieve project objectives;
- Drafting and contributing to the preparation of technical project reports.
Required Skills:
- Experience in managing funded research projects (e.g., Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, EIT, etc.);
- Knowledge of technologies and industrial processes within the scope of Industry 4.0;
- Proactivity, responsibility, excellent analytical and teamwork skills;
- Excellent planning and uncertainty management skills;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- Availability for short national and international trips;
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or technical disciplines;
- 2-5 years of experience in the role.

The MADE Competence Center for Industry 4.0 offers a digital factory model to support manufacturing companies undertaking Industry 4.0 innovation projects in Italy and Europe. Our approach to technology transfer is based on three pillars: informing and showcasing Industry 4.0 technologies, explaining through tailored training activities, and transferring and implementing technological solutions through projects. MADE has a network of 47 partners and over 60 European stakeholders (companies, research centers, R&D laboratories) driving digital transition in Europe. The Competence Center participates in European research and development projects, collaborating with companies, research institutes, and universities to innovate production processes, test and validate new technological solutions and applications.
