Smart energy monitoring and control
Smart energy monitoring and control is enabled by real-time acquisition of consumption and power consumption by CNC machines and service equipment. The collected data are processed in order to define the energy behavior (energy footprint) of the machine in relation to the work programs to which it is subjected.
Analysis and comparison of the baseline energy import with the current energy import allows conclusions to be drawn with respect to the health of the machines and to define any corrective actions to be taken to mitigate energy inefficiencies. In addition, the analysis of consumption and powers allows the operation of service facilities to be adjusted by modifying the energy signal to match the required loads.
The information is collected in eKPIs (energy Key Performance Indicators) that allow users to monitor consumption, identify waste and take corrective action, as well as simulate the energy load required to perform a given set of tasks. The information and eKPIs can be displayed via dashboards locally or remotely depending on the needs of the specific user.
